Korea Tour : Kinds of Korean Foods (Part 3)

I am Eddie Kwon, a Korea tour interpreter and guide.
Today, I would like to give tips about kinds of Korean foods in 3 parts, main dishes, side dishes and dessert. 
Someday I will post about each of them in more details.



Desserts

 
1) Tteok (Rice cake)

 
Tteok is a dish made by steaming, frying, or boiling rice powder or other grain powder after it has been sprinkled with water. It is served at ceremonies and holidays without fail.
 
2) Hangwa (Korean cookies)

 
Hangwa are traditional Korean cookies. There are many varieties depending on the ingredients or recipes such as yumilgwa, gangjeong, sanja, dasik, jeonggwa, suksilgwa , gwapyeon, yeotgangjeong and yeot.


 
3) Sikhae (Rice Beverage)

 
Sikhae is a fermented rice beverage.

4) Sujeonggwa (Dried Persimmon beverages)



Dried Persimmons, cinnamon and other materials are used to make Sujeonggwa.
